Angel Hair Pasta with Shrimps
|

||||||
I got this recipe idea when I went to eat at Olive Garden 15 years ago. I ordered this angel hair pasta with shrimps. It smells so good and looked so good when I got it but the pasta is cold, the shrimps are tough and it needs seasoning. I decided to make it and took it to work and I have very good reviews. 15 minutes 4 servings Ingredients 1 bag 8 oz. angel hair pasta, cooked according to the bag's direction, drained 1/2 stick butter 1 tb virgin olive oil 1 medium onion, diced 4 cloves garlic, minced 1 big green bell pepper, diced 1 can 14.5 oz tomatoes, diced, undrained 1 1/2 tsps italian seasonings 1/2 pound shrimps, fresh, shelled, halves 1 tb freshly grated parmesan cheese salt and pepper to taste Directions In an 11" WF chicken fryer, add butter and oil and saute onion and garlic. Add bell pepper. Cook for 3 minutes. Add tomatoes and italian seasoning reduce heat and simmer for 3 minutes. Add shrimps, cook until it turns pink. Seasoned with salt and pepper. Add pasta. Stir and mix thoroughly. Sprinkle some freshly shredded parmesan cheese. Served with italian salad mix and a sourdough toast. NOTE: I used Lawry's seasoned salt, garlic & pepper combination.
