Barilla PLUS™ Simply Delicious Thin Spaghetti
This simple authentic Italian dish is a healthy addition to any meal or a meal in itself.  The garlic, red pepper flakes and Parmesan cheese create a wonderful combination of flavor. 

Yield: 7-9 Servings
Prep Time: 5 minutes
Cook Time: 16 minutes
 
Ingredients:
1 box Barilla PLUS™ Thin Spaghetti
1/3 cup extra virgin olive oil
3 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
1/4 cup Parmesan cheese, freshly grated
1/3 cup parsley, chopped

Directions:
  1. Cook PLUS™ Thin Spaghetti according to package directions.

  2. Meanwhile, heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add garlic and crushed red pepper flakes, if desired; sauté 2 to 3 minutes.

  3. Drain pasta, reserving ½ cup pasta water. Immediately add hot pasta to skillet. Stir in reserved pasta cooking water. Mix well.

  4. Add cheese and parsley and toss lightly. Transfer to a serving platter or bowl.
