beef short ribs with toamato sauce

3 lbs. beef short ribs
2two 6 oz. tomato sauce
6tbsps.sugar
1tsp.pepper
5 cloves fresh garlic
i -2 tbsp.salt
1 whole green pepper sliced
i whole brown onion,sliced
6 cups of water
2tbsps. olive oil
1-2 tbsp.fish saucethis can be found in asian markets 1 hour 4-6 Ingredients beef short ribs green pepper ground pepper salt tomato sauce water garlic sugar onion olive oil Directions 1.boil beef short ribs till soft in 6 cups of water,seasoned with salt and pepper. 2.Remove softened/boiled ribs and set aside. 3.saute cloves of garlic with olive oil in a saucepan on high heat 4.place onions with the sauteed garlic and cook onions till transparent 5. place ribs, mix in tomato sauce and sugar 6.let it simmer for 5 minutes 7.then mix in the green pepper ,cook for about 2 mins. 8.season to taste,with fish sauce
