Bilinski's Grilled Chicken Sausage with Peppers & Onions

Yield: 5 Servings
 
Ingredients:
5 links Billinkski's Chicken Sausage
1 red pepper, sliced in strips
1 green pepper, sliced in strips
1 small onion, sliced in strips
3 tablespoon olive oil
1/2 teaspoon each salt and pepper
Basil and oregano to taste
5 sausage sandwich rolls

Directions:
  1. Sauté peppers and onion in olive oil until onions are translucent and peppers are soft.

  2. Add spices and cook for another 3 to 5 minutes.

  3. Butterfly sausages and grill them, inside-down, until warmed through and lightly browned (about 3-5 minutes).

  4. Place sausage in rolls and cover with peppers and onions. If desired, toast rolls on grill before serving.
