Braised beef short ribs with cabernet wine infused gravy 4 hours 6 Ingredients 8 beef short ribs 3/4 C. flour 1/2 C. olive oil 1 large white onion 4 cloves garlic 2 C. sliced mushrooms 2 C. beef broth 1 C. Cabernet wine 1/4 C. BBQ sauce such as Black Angus BBQ and grilling sauce 2 T. dry mustard 1 T. dry rosemary 1 T. Thyme 1 T. beef boullion 1 T. Koshar salt 2 t. cracked black pepper Directions 1. Dredge each short rib with flour 2. Add olive oil to cast iron skillet 3. Sear each short rib on each side as to create a crust 4. Remove short ribs from skillet 5. Add garlic, onions, and mushrooms, sautee for 2 minutes 6. Add wine to deglaze pan 7. Add remaining ingredients stirring constantly until broth comes to a boil 8. Bake for 4 hours or until ribs fall off the bone 9. Serve over roasted garlic mashed potatoes or your favorite rice dish
