Chocolate Chip Cookies

These are not ordinary chocolate chip cookies. I always get requests for them, and they are gone prtty quickly after they are made. And the best part is that they are not difficult to make. 30 minutes 30 cookies Ingredients 1 cup 2 sticks softened butter with salt 1/2 cup granulated sugar 1 1/2 cups packed brown sugar 2 eggs 2 1/2 tsp vanilla extract 2 1/2 cups all purpose flour 3/4 tsp salt 1 tsp baking powder 1 tsp baking soda 1 T water 1 1/2 twelve-oz bags Ghiradelli semi-sweet chocolate chips Directions 1. Preheat oven to 350 2. In a large mixing bowl, cream the butter, sugars, eggs, and vanilla 3. In another bowl, mix the flour, salt, baking powder, and baking soda 4. Combine the wet and dry ingredients together 5. Stir in the chocolate chips 6. Stir in the water 7. Place golf-ball sized dough portions on an ungreased cookie sheet 8. Bake for 9 - 10 minutes or until the edges are light brown
