i just returned from the cayman islands, and I did indulge in rum cake, in fact i brought several home. they were great! best cake i have ever had, we quickly ran out, and i had to have more, so i ordered some from HSN and it took 8 days to get them from the time i ordered. cake was moist, and tasted good, however, because it is preserved it does taste a little different than the ones on the island. I will buy them again from HSN rather than ordering from Tortuga, only because it is cheaper.

This is my 2nd reorder of these cakes. I ordered both the chocolate and original previously and just received the reorder of the same. They were a huge hit during the holidays. This size is perfect for buffets. HSN please bring in the big 33oz cake in the original. This is now a staple for all occasions.

this was inedible, it was moist yes but little rum taste and no pineapple taste or pieces which i expected..save your money if youlike downeys or tipsy cakes from jack daniels buy those, its not compareable..

Excellent flavor. You can taste the rum, but it''s not overpowering. Great vanilla flavor comes out too. Super moist and packaged well to keep fresh for a long time.
