This set was mostly lopsided and when we inspected them more closely it looked like the bottom stem was glued onto the bowl and with obviously not much care. HSN as a rule is very reliable, people want their Holiday tables to at least look they didn''t shop at the dollar store, imagine the dissapointment when they open those boxes to set up their tables, and they don''t have other bowls they can use.

My first purchase of Colin Cowie product was the etched glass dessert bowls. Very disappointed in the product. Rough edges and thin, cheap looking. Would not reccommend.

I ordered two sets of these and sent them both back. The ''footed'' part was uneven on 50% of them and they sat lopsided because of it. Also, the glass was so thin that I''m guessing they would chip the minute a piece of flatware hit the edge. I can''t believe CC guy puts his name on these. If he truly does use them in his own home, then my guess is that he''s using the prototype and not the cheaply made mass produced version.

I am so surprised how poorly made MOST of Colin Cowie''s line is.But of course it''s all made is China.Considering that I have purchased hundreds of dollars worth of products from his line, I''m diffinitely qualified to make an honest evaluation re qlty. All of the etched glass sets are good quality.The Gold Charger Plates are made well as well.I am not bashing Colin Cowie.HSN can''t possibly open all the boxes and inspect each item,so don''t blame HSN.

I am extremely disappointed with this item, poor quality, and unfinished edges on bowls, imperfection and mini chips in the bowl, this item will indeed be return for a refund.
