I cook almost evey night, and this is such a simple way to drain things, especially pasta, i lift the pasta insert,all of the water drains in the pot i cooked with very fast and then i am able to pour the pasta right into my serving dish.
I really love this product!

Love the quality of this. I bought this to fit another brand 6 quart stockpot sold here at HSN. Actually it fits several of my pots. If yours isn't deep enough for your pot, use it as a vegetable steamer!

DO NOT BUY! You have been warned. This insert is less than 4" deep from the lid of the pot!! On an 8 quart stock pot almost 1/2 the water in the pot is NOT IN CONTACT with the insert!!

DO NOT BUY! A complete waste of money!
