American Style Crab Cakes
20 minutes 6-8 Ingredients 1 Green pepper 1 Red pepper 2 Cans white crab meat 2 Cans jumbo lump crab meat 1 Tbsp Old bay seasoning 1 Egg 1/2 c Mayo 1/4 c Chicken broth salt and pepper to taste 1 C breadcrumbs 1/4 c Canola oil Directions Chop peppers into a tiny dice. Drain crab meat well and place all ingredients into a bowl. Mix well with a fork. Using a 1/2 cup measuring cup, scoop out crab meat and gently place on a dish, until all has been portioned out. Gently place each patty in the bread crumbs. Heat oil in skillet and place in cakes. Gently brown an both sides. About 7 minutes per side. on medium heat. Serve with rice piloff. and a green salad. Also makes great appetizers in smaller portion sizes.
