Creamy Potato & Bacon Soup

A delicious winter-time warm, creamy soup with a light taste of bacon for added flavor. A sure win with anyone! 30 min 8-12 large bowls Ingredients 4 Pared, Medium Potatoes 2 Slices Bacon, diced 1 finely diced medium onion 2 Tablesp. Butter or Margarine 1 Tablesp. Minced Parsley 2 Teasp. Salt 1/2 Teasp. Nutmeg Dash Cayenne 1/4 Teasp. Dry Mustard 1 Teasp. Worcestershire Sauce 3 Cups Milk 2 oz. Grated Swiss or Process American Cheddar Cheese 1/2 Cup Directions Cook potatoes tender in boiling water to tender after pealing, salted water covered. Drain well. Meanwhile, saute bacon and onion over low heat until brown and tender in saute pan Wolfgang with the butter put sauted mixture in larger stove pot and add potatoes while mashing potatoes and mixing with sauted onions & bacon. add bacon, onion and next 7 ingredients, along with milk. Heat over low heat, stirring for 30 minutes. Stir in Cheese after 15 minutes. Add sprigs to top for color.
