David''s Citrus Garden Box w/Brownies / Dorothy, AZ5/24/2008 The box was lovely - the brownies not so lovely. The cost of 12 brownies that weren''t fresh-tasting is much too high a price to pay for confections that I could bake at home. David should take lessons from Fairytale Brownies; or try Duncan Hines box mix - it takes a few minutes to make but results are absolutely delicious. I''ve been disappointed with all of David''s products. So sorry.
Not So Good... / Jill, AZ5/20/2008 My family wasnt really impressed with these brownies. They are very dry and do not have alot of flavor. I have tried other desserts from David''s cookies and have loved them. Not sure what happened with these though.
Surpassed our expectations / , SC5/20/2008 We normally don''t order food through the mail because we''re afraid the food will arrive stale or broken up. However, these brownies exceeded our expectations. Each brownie is individually packaged, moist, & delicious. Each brownie is so big that my mother and I had to split one. My mother loved the flowery package that they came in. However, she wished that the company made little handles on the box. :) We highly recommend these brownies. They make perfect gifts for any occassion.
LOVE THESE BROWNIES / A, SC5/18/2008 I love all the David''s Cookies brownies I have gotten.I thought this batch was a little dry so I put them in the freezer.Then I thawed out in microwave and they were fresh as could be.
I just ordered 2 more of them.
Not the greatest / Jenn, SC5/17/2008 The brownies were moist for the first 2 days then they became to become hard and dried out (especially the cookie dough then the rest followed). I can make my own brownies at home for way cheaper that taste better and last longer. I bought them to use for a little dessert for a big family dinner with ice cream. How are you suppose to send back a bunch of dried crumbled up brownies?
