I noticed only a slight difference on the life of my vegetables. The box broke the first time I washed it on the top shelf of my dishwasher. Wont try these again.

I am very pleased with the GreenBoxes. So far, I have only stored vegetables; their "life" is extended at least 4 times. I stored zucchini, yellow squash, and brocolli in the same container and they stayed fresh and firm for almost 4 weeks until I cooked them. You MUST make sure the vegetables are dry and also open the boxes and wipe off the moisture that builds up inside. These are great for a single person or couple who don't prepare large meals, as the vegetables stay fresh for a long time.

I have seen some of the negative ratings on here and cannot understand why. The whole deal is that WET items cannot be stored since the moisture will create mold. When placing my items into any containers, I place a paper towel on TOP inside to absorb moisture buildup. Make sure the food items are dry when you initially place foods into the containers. Hope this helps you guys.
