We always had this for every holiday. It was handed down in my mothers family from PA several hours 5-6 Ingredients 1c dried corn, 2tsp sugar, 1tsp salt, 1/4tsp pepper, 2tbs butter, 1/2c evaportated milk or cream Directions Cover the corn with water to soak overnight. In morning add the sugar, salt, and pepper and simmerf for several hours until soft. Add more water if needed to prevent scorching. When tender, add butter and milk before serving.
