Easy Empanadas

Hand held snack or appetizer. Pocket filled with flavorful beef. 10-15 min 6-12 Ingredients 2 dozen unbaked frozen dinner rolls thawed 2 lbs ground beef 2 onions, med. Minced I use 2 tablespoons dried Onion Flakes 2 teaspoons salt ½ teaspoon pepper 1 teaspoon cinnamon ½ teaspoon Allspice ½ teaspoon Nutmeg ¼ cup Pine Nuts 4 tablespoons Vinegar Directions Thaw out dinner rolls according to the package directions. Allow rolls to double in size. Combine all ingredients above ingredients except Vinegar and Pinenuts. Cook on medium heat, stir well. When meat is just light brown, add the vinegar and pinenuts, stir, simmer 2 or 3 minutes. Place meat in a container and refrigerate. When rolls have doubled in size and meat is cold, oil baking sheets. Preheat oven to 375 degrees. With hands or rolling pin, work and press each roll into a circle about 3-4 inches in diameter. Place 2 or 3 Tablespoons in center, fold in half and crimp edges. Vent each pie with a sm slit in the top. Bake for 10-15 min, or until golden brown, increase temperature to 400 degrees if necessary. Cool pies on baking rake.
