I bought this fryer as a gift for my sister. I have a friend with one and he swears by it. I used it one time and it shorted out or atleast the power light went out and after ten minutes of fooling with the cord and temp knob I only got one fryer to come back on. While it worked it was wonderful, french fries in one basket set to high, jalepeno poppers in the other basket set to 350. I followed time of 5mins on popper box and they came out golden brown with a small bubble of cheese starting to show on only one but no cheese was lost, so the fryer must be pretty accurate. I will try an exchange and let you know how that one does. PS- They charge my credit card to return this, booo!

This fryer is perfect! My husband loves his french fries, but does not like fish at all. I love fish! We each have our own section and no fish or french fry tastes get combined together. If you only want french fries the whole cooker does not have to heat up because each side is separately controlled. It looks great on the counter!

Was happy to get double fryer but very disappointed after using first time. The degree numbers must have been in white out because after wiping the first time the numbers were gone. the right side of the fryer kept cutting off while I was cooking in it. Had I tried this out when I first bought it it would have been sent back immediatley. HSN you really need to take more time in developing QUALITY items before you lose dedicated customers. Now I try everything as soon as I get it in case it needs to go back....

I was so excited to finally see this dual basket fryer. I've been waiting awhile to purchase a deep fryer and at $79.00 I wasn't going to wait any longer. I just received it and when I took it out of the box I was disappointed it looks very sleek, but it's cheap. It dented when I picked it up out of the box and the way it sits are not legs but the metal pieces underneath 2 out of 4 fell off. I really expected better quality not only from HSN but Elite . HSN before you lose more customers, Please put QUALITY before QUANTITY your customers trust you. Yes it goes back today.

This is wonderful. I can fry up many things in no time. The only downside to this is grease got on the little number dial and went to wipe it and the temp numbers came off.
