Nice, heavy, just like in chain store restaurants. Cooks and sizzles in broiler, but was surprised I could use it on the stove top. Duh!! I should have bought 2 - better yet even four - for company and be able to serve like A______bees.

This is a very nice cast iron pan. It's a no brainer as far as directions are concerned. Just read a few pointers and Viola...You are cooking with Emeril. A really nice bonus are the recipe cards and the wooden trivet that is included with the pan. It's a winner. My Grandmother used cast iron pans "fully seasoned" It brings back childhood memories. A wonderful way to cook. The food is very tasy and the clean up is a breeze. Just remember not to add any soap. A little warm water when the pan cools and that's it...I would highly reccomend this pan.

My first piece of cast iron. It's the perfect size for broiling steaks, fish, chicken, etc. for 2 people. It's preseasoned, easy to clean, excellent quality. I highly recommend this.

These are excellent plates!
They cook evenly and clean up is easy.
They are pre-seasoned. Continue to oil and heat them after use.
I purchased 2 and used them to broil some steaks and they came out perfect!
The wood trivet allows you to serve from the oven directly to the tabletop, however, remember the plate is extremely hot!
If you like cast iron cooking, you will love these sizzle plates.
