JUST RECEIVED THE HAM SLICES AND DECEIDED TO HAVE SOME HAM AND EGGS FOR BRUNCH. I HAD PURCHASED THE EASTER HAM AND IT WAS AS EXPECTED. VERY TENDER AND THE FLAVOR WAS EXCELLENT. IN COMPARISON TO THIS HAM, WHICH I HAVE TO AGREE WITH THE OTHERS, IT IS WAY TOO SALTY AND NOT , TO ME, AS TENDER, WHICH IS DISAPPOINTING.I HOPE IT IS REDONE IN THE FUTURE, TO AS GOOD AS THE EASTER HAM. This is the worst purchase I've ever made from HSN and I have been with them for over 20 years.
We have tried many HSN food items and have never been disappointed before. It was not only very salty, but it was so tough we couldn't eat it, threw it out. Maybe it was an odd batch, but it was expensive, a waste of money. I don't know what to do with the other packages. I'm tempted to throw them out, too, but will probably make pea soup or beans. It doesn't deserve one star. It's worse than poor.

I got hungary just reading the description. Smoked center cut ham is what I grew up on some 50 odd years ago. This ham coms in 3, 14 oz bags and works out to $13.25 a pound including shipping, less your state sales tax. It was the worst piece of the saltiest meat I have ever tried to eat. HSN's great customer service refunded my money and told me to dispose of the ham any way I saw fit. The dogs were not as picky as I am. I hope this review saves you some money.

I ordered for my maternal gma and my father who are both country ham lovers from KY. We had relatives who were reknowned for their skills in smoking meats, so I was nervous about ordering this product for "expert" palates. Everyone gave this ham rave reviews for the high quality and outstanding taste! My father ate it every day (twice per day) until it was gone. My 86 year old gma said that this is the best KY ham she has ever tasted!!
