My mac and cheese is rich and gooey and tastes wonderful. Everyone I make it for asks for the recipe. 30 minutes 6 Ingredients 1. 12 ounces dried macaroni 2-2/3 cups I like using two or three types of macaroni. 2. 1/2 Cube Butter plus 4 T Flour 3. 2 –1/2 Cups Milk or more if too thick 4. 1 package Lipton Onion Soup 5. pepper to taste 6. 1 pound Sliced Munster Cheese 7. 1/2 Cup Parmesan Cheese 1 cup of Bread Crumbs, I usually use 6 or 7 slices of day old bread in the food processor, then add the parmesan and 1/2 cup melted butter. Process until it is chunky and well mixed. 8. 2 cups Sharp Cheddar or Guyere cheese. Directions 1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees 2. Melt Butter in large saucepan 3. Add Flour and stir until bubbly and well mixed 4. Add milk and cook on low, stirring until thickened. 5. Add one package of Lipton Onion Soup. 6. Add cheddar and cubed cream cheese, and simmer on low, stirring occasionally to keep from sticking or burning. 7. Cook pasta at package directions. 8. Mix the pasta with the cheese sauce mixture 9. add canned chicken or tuna to the dish as you like I use a package of grilled chicken or two large cans of albacore tuna chopped. 9. In a large casserole grease the dish and layer about one third of the pasta mixture. 10. Lay slices of munster cheese all over the layer then another third of pasta and another layer of cheese then the final third of the pasta. 10 Top with the bread crumb/parmesan mixture. 11. bake at 375 degrees for thirty minutes.
