I order this a lot and happen to think it tastes great. I feel better snacking on this than on much of the other stuff I could be munching on. The mixture is a bit heavier on raisins/cherries/cranberries but it's still a good mixture. I sometimes add raw cashews - it's great that way too. I would recommend it.

Most of the fruit are tiny chopped pieces of sugared pinapple and sugared papya. The raisins are the best in this mix but I don't call this fancy big fruit. Dates are coated with powdered brown coating that looks horrible and all in pieces (not whole). You can get much better dried fruit from Summaid than this and for much less money! Sunmaid's or Orchard Choice Dried Black Mission whole figs or figlets (same in size)are the best in 9oz and 10oz sealed bags! Hsn gave me my refund.

There a lot of raisins less with other fruits, apricot is too hard, missing papaya, and pineapple is coated with a lot of sugar. I am not buying again, unless they will improve the fruit mix with better taste and less sugar.

We have ordered the fancy fruit mix over and over. We eat it every day over yogurt for breakfast. It's wonderful fresh dried fruit that's not tough but not too sticky either. Just love the fruit. This fruit has spoiled us. We received a bag of a different vender's and what a difference. The fruit was in giant pieces and surgary.

I ordered the 4lbs. fancy fruit mix. There are too many raisins which are not a fancy fruit in my opinion. The dates are a funky, not date like in flavor. In general, this product is way too sweet for my taste. I plan to cancel my auto ship.
