NOTE:
PFOA is a chemical that is used in the manufacturing of traditional PTFE-based nonstick cookware coatings and other products. It is not present in finished cookware products, and there are no health risks from PFOA in cookware. However, because PFOA has been found in the environment, companies have committed to the Environmental Protection Agency to work toward eliminating facility emissions and product content of PFOA by the year 2015. Thermolon™ is made without PFOA. It is made to be eco-friendly for our environment.
PTFE is a chemical found in traditional nonstick coatings. It can begin to degrade at temperatures over 500 degrees, which is why the instructions on traditional nonstick pans generally advise to use them only on low and medium heat. You can use Thermolon™ on low and medium heat like traditional nonstick, but unlike traditional nonstick coated pans, GreenPan with Thermolon™ is also made to be used at high heat (above 500 degrees) for something you would normally use stainless steel or cast iron cookware for. Now you can do it all with one pan!

A knowledgeable cook / Sheila, NC5/17/2008 After very little use these pans did Not maintain the non-stick surface, the surface was pitted, and was extremely difficult to clean. I have already thrown this waste of money in the trash. Additionally, the design of the bottom of the pans is too thin to maintain a uniform temperature across the cooking surface. Don''t waste your time and money on this product. HSN you should not sell this product until it is substantially improved.
Disposable Pans / Elana, OH5/17/2008 I have had this set for 8 months. I am not sure about the other reviews but the non-stick aspect is fantastic. I loved them. However, the exterior immediately was all scratched up, but I loved the interior so I kept them. Now the insides are all knicked up. Aluminum showing. What a mess. I also bought the high priced double grill pan (love the size and non-stick) but it is also all knicked up too. I am out lots of money. Do not buy the greenpan.

why?5/17/2008 Why would HSN still sell this product even though it getting horrible reviews and such bad quality?? Review after review complains about the product and the customer service. I have decided that HSN may not be a place I want to buy from anymore. Very disappointing.
