Heart Healthy Corn Chowder

This is NOT Grandma's corn chowder.....it's better! One hour 6-8 Ingredients 1/2 pound turkey kielbasa, peeled and diced 1 large onion, chopped 2 cups water 4-5 potatoes, cut coarsely peeled or not-your choice 3 cans creamed corn salt and pepper to taste 3 cups non-fat or 1% milk Directions 1. Gently preheat dutch oven, add kielbasa and saute for 5 minutes. 2. Add onion and saute until yellow. 3. Add a small amount of water and deglaze pan. 4. Add potatoes and the rest of the water. 5. Cook until the potates are tender. 6. Add the corn and the milk. 7. Heat gently. Add salt and pepper.
