Anytime my mother and I get together, one of us has to make this ! Her recipe has no amounts, but I'm A Nutrition and Foods teacher and have to measure. This is how I make it.

Ingredients
7 cups peeled and cubed potatoes
1 pound Swiss cheese, cubed
2/3 cup mayonnaise
1 teaspoon garlic salt
1 10-ounce jar olives, drained & chopped

Directions
Cook potatoes in a small amount of simmering, salted water, covered for 18-20 minutes, or until tender. Drain.
Grease a 9x13-inch baking pan. Mix all ingredients in a large mixing bowl and transfer to baking pan. Bake at 350 degree oven for 35-40 minutes.
