Great way to beat the winter blues. We all couldn't wait for the warm summer to come, so we made it happen indoors! Gather your best friends,everyone bring a side dish, put on some summer time music, put up the heat, wear shorts and t's,make margaritas, and have an indoor clam bake! 15 min 10-12 plus Ingredients 4 whole lobsters,2lb's jumbocleanedshrimp,2lb's musslescleaned,2lb's cherrystone clamscleaned,2 cups chicken broth,1-2 cups white wine,1 1/2 sticks butter,1 cup extra vigin olive oil,fresh garlic,juice of lemon, sea salt. you can add red pepper flakes, or fresh hot pepper's if you want to spice it up. Directions 1.melt butter in large stock pot,2.saute garlic,add chicken broth,oil,sea salt,wine, pepperflakesoptional,and lemon.3.lower heat to low simmer.reserve 1/2 of liquid to pour over seafood. 4.layer seafood in pot:clams,mussles,shrimp,then lobsters on top, pour remaining liquid over, and cover pot.4. steam/simmer approx 10mins. checking to see that clams have opened, and shrimp is no longer translucent.5. serve in a large deep platter. Perfect to serve with bow tie pastausing liquid from pot to coat. have a friend bring the corn on the cob,another roasted red potato, and fresh bread to soak up the liquid!
