This recipe is the best white bread I've made in the Emeril bread machine. The secret is to cut back on the yeast, and use the Sweet bread setting menu #4. It takes a little longer, but produces a GREAT airy white loaf. If you use regular active yeast, increase to 2 and 1/4 Tsp. 3 hours 45 minutes One 2lb Loaf Ingredients 1 cup + 1 TBSP water 1/4 cup vegetable oil 2 TBSP sugar 1 and 1/2 Tsp salt 3 cups bread flour 1 and 1/2 Tsp instant yeast Directions Put ingredients in Emeril bread machine pan in order listed. Select menu cycle #4 Sweet bread. Select 2lb loaf and desired crust I recommend a light crust setting. Start machine.
