Cranberry Mulled Wine
Ingredients
1 (750 ml) bottle light-bodied red wine (Beaujolais, Pinot Noir or Syrah)
1 cinnamon stick
3 slices fresh ginger, peeled
2 oranges, with peel left on & sliced
2 lemons, with peel left on & sliced
1 cup granulated sugar
1 cup fresh cranberries
4 cups apple cider
Directions
  1. In an 8-quart Command Performance Gold stockpot, combine the wine, cinnamon, ginger, sliced oranges and lemons, sugar, cranberries and apple cider.
  2. Bring to a slow simmer and cook for 30 minutes. Serve strained in mugs.
