Using already prepared pierogies makes this recipe a real "no brainer" and it is delicious! Makes a great Pot Luck take along too. 35 min. 4 Ingredients 2 cloves minced garlic 2 tbsp water pepper to taste 1 28 oz can sauerkraut undrained 1 medium onion sliced into 1/4 in rings 4 Bratwurst links precooked ones 8 pierogies ie: Mrs T's 2 tablespoons butter Directions Combine garlic, water & pepper..add to the sauerkraut, stir to mix. In dutch oven or deep skillet in the following ordermelt the butter, add the sauerkraut, onion ring slices, Brats & pierogies pressing the Brats & pierogies into the saurkraut. bring to a slight boil, lower heat & simmer 30 min.
