As others mentioned, you can use this for just about anything. The green handle is easy to find in a drawer. They come packaged individually in a sturdy plastic housing so you can give these as little gifts along with a herb plant perhaps. These appear to be left-hand or right-hand scissors; and they feel good in the hand, w/good heft and weight. The handle feels like silicone so you get a good grip on it, no slipping if hands are wet.

I really love these as we love to cook with fresh herbs - snip them right into whatever I am cooking. Easy to use and very comfortable handles! I love that they have so many uses in the kitchen - I keep the green ones for food cutting and use the gray ones for twine and other household uses. Easy clean up too!

Well, I just got into using fresh herbs, so thought I would give these handy snips a try. I love snipping some fresh sage right into my pan. I have to admit, there are more uses for them since they are so handy in the kitchen. Great product!

I love the Herb Snips for many reasons... The green handle makes them so easy to recognize amongst my many accessories I use less accessories while cooking, EASY clean up They are comfortable to use I use my herb snips for many recipes...my potato soup, sauce, salad, etc. I am new to the "fresh" herb world and these snips make it even more fun!

What I love about the Herb Snips is their versatility. You can use them to cut herbs, as they were designed, or just cut the stubborn wrapper off of a new bottle of dressing. And, clean up is so easy. Instead of using a knife and dirtying the cutting board, I hold the basil right over the pot, snip and let it fall right in! Their handle is so comfortable, too!
