Honeyed orange glazed pasnips and bacon cooked rough 40 2 servibgs Ingredients thick sliced bacon 6 parsnips honey 3 fresh oranges 1 tbls table sugar salt & pepper Directions Parboil 6 peeled/scraped parsnips until slightly tender and bake 6 thick sliced bacon slices until crispy in separate pant oops, sorry, meant pan but panting also allowed add freshly squeezed juice amd honey to saucepan and reduce for 10 min over slow heat then let parsnips sliced in half lengthways sit in pan over hardly any heat for five min saute parsnips then in 2 tbls bacon grease slightly dust with salt and pepper then fry in fry pan 5 min, dusting with regular sugar before searing in medium heat 2 min slice parsnips again lengthways and serve between bacon slices laid out lengthways servings may vary depending on size of parsnips.
