Be careful if you use this cup! / , NV4/23/2008 We puchased 4 sets of the Sorelle Mugs in different patterns. When my husband poured hot tea into one of these mugs we heard a cracking sound and the water started to spill all over the coffee table which left a slight discoloration on the wood. We found a crack near the bottom that went all the way around the cup.If these mugs are to be only for display, please say so. Now we are afraid to use any of the mugs we purchased for fear that the same thing will happen and scald one of our guests.
GORGEOUS!!!!!! / Vicki, SC3/18/2008 I purchased these a a teachers gift, but its gonna be really hard to part with them!! They are just so beautiful!! I was actually surprised to see that they are made in China, though. I just kind of thought they''d be made in Italy. Even so, they''re a great purchase, I''m going to get the blue set, too.
Beautiful but poor workmanship / JENN, NM3/17/2008 The gold, decals and painting on both sets of the mugs were pitted, crooked, & incomplete. What a shame. Definitely NOT the quality I was anticipating. Returned both sets.
