These are the best sweet potato pies that we have ever purchased! They taste like they were home made by your grandmother...Even the pie crust tastes like it is made from scratch,I can''t say enough about these pies! I hope that HSN keeps them "on the menu". I could not taste the coconut and I didn''t tell my husband that it was in there (or he wouldn''t have tried them)and he loved the pies. If there were ten stars I would have rated them a ten! I''m reordering!

The sweet potato pies were absolutely delicious and the crust was a beautiful golden brown. When I received my order packed in dry ice all contents were perfect when I opened them. One of the best sweet potato pies I have ever eaten. Highly recommended .....but they are not as big as I though they would be. They are really average 9 inch pies. However, for the money the pies should be bigger. But everyone loved them and couldn''t get enough of them including me.

I ordered these pies for our New Year''s Day pot luck brunch and imagine my surprise when I found them practically untouched because of the coconut! The pies have a great flavor but the coconut is a very non-traditional ingredient and no one was used to it, so both pies went untouched. I definitely will NOT re-order.

The flavor is very good. However, the pies contain coconut, which is a very non-traditional ingredient, and I didn''t care for that addition at all. Also, the pies are very shallow. For $45 for 2 pies (with shipping), these are a poor value. Sweet potato pies from the freezer section of the grocery store are comparable and significantly less expensive. I won''t be reordering these.

Sweet Potato Pie more spice than nice..... / KT, AL

The pies arrived frozen and well packaged as described, however the potato pie filling is shallow and not thick like the photo illustrates. I also found the strong spice flavor too overpowering for a southern sweet potato pie. It taste more like a pumpkin pie, so I will not reorder this item.
