Very nice mandoline , beats the cheap plastic ones.Nice and sturdy while cutting veggies, best for french fries and waffle fries.Very easy to clean.Like mine alot

I''ve used other mandolines, all cheaper than this one and and all which worked better. I wanted a stainless body to handle more pressure and a higher volme of produce, and this thing is like a tank - BUT it can''t slice, so it is worthless. The blades are dull, dull, sull. Plus it is likely far too large for the normal hme cook to use regularly.

I was really looking forward to using the mandoline. I placed a potato in the safety holder and started to cut french fries. The result was not what I expected. The potato was shredded and just a complete mess. The slicing blade was dull and of no use and the julienne blade was the same. This one is going back. Sorry HSN!

After shopping for months for a mandoline, the pricing on this item, especially on sale, was too much to resist. Sturdy construction. Extremely Stable. all 18/10 stainless steel. The 4 attachments allow me to prepare everything i need. And the slicing thickness is completely ajustable, allowing you to go from wafer thin to juicy crinkle cut style. For my personal tastes, the slicing blade is a little on the dull side, but that can be easily remedied with any number of sharpeners.
