Herb, spiced steamed shrimp
Great for Appetizers or Entrees! 30 minutes 1/2 to 1 lb. per hungry diner~for Appetizers or Entrees~ Ingredients Italian or Asian spices, and herbs. Or use New Orliens flavors, barbi-q flavors. I enjoy the flavors of lemon pepper, sage, orageno, paprika, parsly, garlic! Shrimp are easily flavored to any style dish. Directions Using large Wolfgang Puck or Command Proformance Cookware, boil about 2 quarts of water. Add your favorite herbs, and seasonings to taste for Asian, Italian, or other favorites. Allow herbs and spices to boil, then reduce heat to medium. Insert Command Proformance Steamer/Colander to cooking pot, making sure not to let water boil dry, or stand higher than the bottom of the steamer. Add cleaned, veined shrimp to Steamer/Colander. Add additional herbs and spices on top of shrimp, to taste. Cover steamer with lid, and steam shrimp till cooked thru. Can be served piping hot, or chilled on crushed ice. Sprinkle crushed ice with the same herbs and spices used in recipe, or on lemon slices.
