These pans are what I've been looking for ever since I went from cooking on a gas range to a cooktop. I love the sleek clean look of the cooktop and sacrified cooking Sunday fried chicken the way I was taught by my mother and grandmother in the old heavy, heavy duty cast iron. I missed not being able to use those weighty cast iron frying pans that I'd used for over 25 years, having given them away. Now I have to best of of both worlds--a sleek shiny cooktop and the good old fashioned cooking experience in cast iron that I grew up with and loved.

I was so elated when these pans arrived. I followed the instructions that came with it. I was so disappointed when my tofu started to stick to the pan! Then I noticed after washing the pan, that the enamel was already wearing off the bottom of the pan!!! These are going back!!! I guess mines were defective! Everyone else seems to have a great experience with these Love pans but me! I bought a Food Net work dutch oven and the enamel on that one has no flaws! Sorry Tim Love, no love for you here!

Just wanted to say that these cast iron pans are great. Its easy cleaning and the food taste even better now.. Just like grandma's cooking. :) The only draw back is that I wish the skillets came with lids. I have about 5 of these skillets in different sizes but none with lids. Hopefully he will come up with lids to fit them soon. I will surely by every size.. Thank you timm...

Had to send these back (although kept the 16 piece set): the pans are just too heavy for my; I don't know about the other customers, but there is no way I can lift and pour or slide something of the pans, because I need both hand to hold it. I am worried about the origin and lead content of the paint too. Being a physician and a mom of three under the age of four years, I know, how big a concern lead is, and can only strongly urge HSN to investigate this further, and not take this lightly.

Just received these skillets and had to try them out immediately.They are much larger than I expected,great weight,beautiful design,easy cleanup,and they fry chicken to perfection, Im sold!!!!
