Great cookware for the price! / ntt, TX6/22/2008 It has been a beautiful and functional enameled cast iron for the price. After using it several times and cooked various dishes, I can''t see myself paying for a popular brand for 3 or 4 more $$$$. This one cook just nicely, evenly and no smell! So beautiful on my stove top too in between usage.
Most Chinese have longevity life... maybe, it''s the lead ;o)
I''m in LOVE!!! / Cat, TN12/8/2007 I got this in black and just planned to keep it on the stove because it looks so gorgeous. I have the whole set and also the previous Cottage Collection in chocolate-so, I really didn''t think I would need to use it that much. I just love it and use it for everything-boiling water for pasta or browning onions, etc. This collection looks great, cooks great and cleans great!! Better quality than the previous Cottage Collection. Thanks Chef Love and HSN for a great collection!!!!
Poor quality . . . but cleaned nicely! / B., TX10/15/2007 I was so excited to get this casserole dish. It was absolutely beautiful and I kept it on my stove. When I finally decided to use it, I cleaned it and put my food inside I noticed a strange smell coming from the pot. Is it made in China? I began wondering about lead issues. I had put it on medium heat, like the booklet suggested and the enamel came off from the top. I was very disappointed. I will say that when I cleaned it, it did clean very nicely. Sorry Mr. Love. I didn''t love it.
Beauty & Function / , NC10/8/2007 I ordered this in chocolate. Love the color, quality and size. So beautiful on top of stove when not in use and such quality when in use. I''m in love w/ TL Collection! Can''t pay the LC price but can afford this, esp. w/ flex pay! Would love to see pieces offered in the latest LC color--Carribean Blue! THANKS!
