HSN Responds to Customer Reviews about Plate Assembly and Item Packaging

Your new Tri-Grill is equipped with interchangeable grill/griddle plates. Your instruction manual provides detailed instructions and illustrations on how to assemble the plates. Just follow these simple steps to lock your grill/griddle plates in place:

Always work with a cooled appliance and plates.
Hold upper plate at each corner and align indentations in lower edge of plate with J-shaped hooks on the inside of the lower edge of the lid. Slide indentations into hooks.
Raise plate to meet upper edge of lid and push plate against lid until you hear a “click” sound as plate snaps in place.
Assure plate is secure by gently tugging plate.
For the lower plate, line up the two rear locking pins on the back of the plate with the slots in the rear of the housing. Lay the plate down and apply downward pressure until you hear the plate snap into place. Assure the plate is secure by gently pulling up.

Several of you have expressed concerns regarding the packaging of the Tri-Grill. While the Tri-Grill passed all standard quality tests both here and at the manufacturer’s facility, your concerns drove us to test further. We are currently working with our manufacturer partner to improve future packaging solutions and have already made improvements to the existing version.

I love the way this grill cooks and cleans up. I had an older grill without removable plates and going to this one makes cleaning a breeze. The one complaint I have is that the electrical cord is very short and I cannot always put it where I would like it to be.

I brought WGP grill to replace an old George forman grill. I have to say that I really like it. Since I live by myself and have no kids, the grill is a bit big but I can live with that. I cook steaks on it and they come out juicy and evenly cooked.

Grills perfectly, griddle works exactly as promised. BUT the knob that makes it go into the different positions broke totally off - shot off the machine about 10 inches - into about 6 different pieces, screws, etc. Sent for a new one because our steaks have never been cooked so evenly or been so tender, will let you know what happens next.

I love this product. I took some frozen stuffed pork chops from the freezer and put them on the grill and they cooked in just a few minutes. They turned out perfectly. I use it all the time and it cleans up very easy. The only negative thing is that it would be nice to have the gauges marked better.

It smoked and smelled bad and we had to use it outside on our patio. Then halfway through cooking simple burgers it didn't heat up to more than a sizzle. It must have been defective. I've purchased Wolfgang's products before and were always very satisfied.
