B-L-T Pizza
The contrast of hot crust and cold salad is wonderful.
Recipe by Marian Getz
Makes: 1 8"-10" pizza
Ingredients
1/4 pizza dough recipe
4 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
1 medium tomato, chopped
1 cup romaine lettuce, chopped
1/2 cup mozzarella, shredded
1/4 cup onion, sliced
salt and pepper to taste
1 tablespoon mayonnaise
1 tablespoon heavy cream
Directions
  1. Preheat pizza oven. Scatter cheese and onion over pizza crust. Bake in pizza oven for 12-18 minutes or until crispy and brown.
  2. While pizza crust is baking, whisk in a bowl the mayonnaise, heavy cream, and salt and pepper. Add bacon, tomato, and lettuce. Toss to coat.
  3. Pour onto hot pizza crust and eat immediately.
