The EASIEST, moistest cake - even your youngest child can help make this! Great for those last minute dessert needs, always a hit! 50 minutes 8 servings Ingredients 1 can pie filling mixed berry, apple, lemon, peach, whatever you like! 1 can Crushed Pineapple drained 1 box YELLOW Cake Mix 1-1/2 sticks of butter 1 cup pecans or walnuts optional Directions Grease a 9 X 13 rectangular pan Spread 1 can of Pie Filling into a layer in the greased pan Spread 1 large can of Crushed Pineapple DRAINED on top of the pie filling in the greased pan Sprinkle evenly one box of Yellow cake mix, dry just as it comes out of the box, Betty Crocker "with pudding in the mix" brand cake mix is excellent but any will work over the top of the pie filling and pineapple Drizzle 1 and 1/2 sticks of butter MELTED evenly over the dry cake mix Bake at 350 for 50 minutes check at 40 minutes until the top is golden brown. You can sprinkle one cup of pecans or walnuts on top of of the cake before baking if you wish. Dish out and serve either warm or cold.
