meatloaf with a twangy ketchup sauce 45 minutes 6 servings Ingredients 3 lbs. of hamburger 1 large onion 1 large green pepper 1 1/2 cups of fresh bread crumbs 1 1/2 cups of ketchup 2 eggs salt pepper sauce: 2 cups of ketchup 1/3 cup of vinegar tsp. of mustard little salt little peper tablespoon of sugar Directions 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. 2. brown hamburger, onion, and green pepper 3. drain all grease 4. take fresh slices of bread and put it in a food processor to make fine bread crumbs 4. add all other ingredients and mix together well 5. form into two loaves 6. put the loaves in the oven to cook a 20 minutes before adding the sauce. 7. while waiting for the loaves to cook mix up the sauce in a bowl mixing all the ingredients together. 8. take the loaves out of the oven and drain off any grease 9. put the sauce on top and sides of both loaves and return to the oven to finish cooking 10. at the end of the cooking remove any more grease
